We teamed up with Sentry Medical, a premium supplier of medical consumables across Australia and New Zealand, to embark on a comprehensive digital transformation service journey. Our mission: redesigning and consolidating their online footprint, seamlessly integrating content from the acquired Aaxis Pacific into a sleek, compliant, and intuitive e-commerce website development platform.
The Challenge
Facing an outdated website and the need to seamlessly merge Aaxis Pacific’s content, Sentry Medical tackled a project demanding compliance with stringent industry regulations. They aimed to elevate user experience across diverse customer segments while embodying Sentry Medical’s refreshed brand identity. We built the website based on their new branding, ensuring the new design seamlessly aligned with their updated brand assets, effectively launching their new brand identity through the website
The Approach
We kicked off with an extensive Discovery phase, delving into Sentry’s business objectives, audience nuances, and technological prerequisites. Tailored web design e-commerce strategies, wireframes and designs were crafted in line with Sentry’s brand guidelines, ensuring seamless user journeys for both general customers and sales representatives.
Development efforts introduced robust functionalities like multiple user pathways, a streamlined quote request system, and seamless Mailchimp integration. We also executed the migration of over 2000 products and user data to a new, agile WooCommerce website development platform.

- Customised Checkout Processes: The website features distinct checkout processes tailored to different user journeys, specifically for the General Public and Sales Representatives.
- Checkout Outcomes: Each checkout process yields different outcomes:
- General Public: The checkout process functions as a “request a quote” system, where users request pricing information rather than making a direct purchase.
- Sales Representatives: The checkout process allows Sales Reps to request product samples or place orders, subject to approval.
- Management Approval System: For Sales Representatives, if the requested quantity exceeds one or if the request is urgent, it is routed to a manager for approval before fulfilment. This ensures proper oversight and inventory management.
- Product Import: Collaborated with the client to build a CSV file for bulk uploading nearly 2,000 products to the website.
- Flexible Backend Structure: The backend is designed with pre-built components that allow users to create new content-heavy pages, and update or delete existing content without needing developer assistance.
- Mailchimp Integration: Integrated Mailchimp for managing newsletters.
